The series of events that make up the Tacoma Pride Festival will take place through the month of July. From Denny Way, you can take it north along 4th Avenue until around 1:30 pm.
Starting at the corner of Union Street and 4th Avenue, the event will end with the performance of the Seattle Children’s Chorus. We are part of every community, every neighborhood, and every family. On June 30, 1974, Gay Pride Week concluded with a 'Gay-In' at the Seattle Center that featured 'zany dress, general frivolity, carousing and a circle dance around the main International fountain.' In an effort to continue to keep our community safe, Pride will be a virtual parade that will highlight our resilience as a community and the spirit of Pride as well as the businesses and organizations that honor Pride in Tacoma.
This year, we will facilitate a community full of Pride on July 10th and we want you to join us! Rainbow Center is committed to celebrating Pride in Tacoma in the most safe way possible in 2021.
